
Mariela Continenza is a well known Spanish instructor in the Twin Cities, who is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She received her bachelor’s degree from the Universitad Catolica Andres Bello in language teaching.
She has been a translator in medical settings and at 3M Company. She has been an adjunct instructor for several Twin Cities’ community colleges. Sra. Continenza coordinated Spanish training for the Venezuela State Department of Humanities.
With Marlene Schoenberg, she has presented advanced Spanish training to speech pathologists at a unique Spanish Retreat at Wilder Forest. They also presented together on "Practica en Español" at the American Speech and Hearing Association in San Francisco in November 1999.
Mariela has led educational tours in Spain and studied at the University of Salamanca. She has taught beginning Spanish to employees at the City of Minneapolis.
